A Road Case Built by Riggers, for Riggers
Our crew has loaded, transported and pushed road cases for years, and that experience shaped the MTN BOX®. Standard ATA road cases are an industry staple, but they are built for one purpose. The MTN BOX was designed to adapt: integrated channels in the inner walls accept a wide range of partition inserts, so you can reconfigure the same case for chain hoists, rigging, tools or fall protection whenever the job changes.
Built Tougher Than a Standard Road Case
Spektrum Series cases are constructed from super strong polyethylene resin, resistant to chemicals, heat, dust and moisture. A recessed steel frame surrounds the case to reinforce its structure and displace the weight of your equipment. Every case includes heavy-duty swivel casters, spring loaded handles and molded caster cups on the lid, so stacked cases stay in place during transport. A cable pass-through lets you run cables to a power source with the lid closed, and writable whiteboards keep production name, ship date, box number, weight and contents visible at a glance. Hardware is screw-on and fully replaceable, so the case can be serviced without drilling.
Spektrum Series Road Case Sizes: SM, LG 2.0 and XL
The MTN BOX is available in three sizes. The MTN BOX Spektrum Series SM is the compact option for smaller hoists and gear, the Spektrum Series LG 2.0 is the redesigned large case with a reduced lid height for more storage space, and the Spektrum Series XL offers the largest capacity for bulky equipment. Chain Hoist Road Case Inserts: CM Lodestar, Prostar and Stagemaker
Insert packages turn the MTN BOX into a dedicated chain hoist road case. LG and SM inserts are available for one to six hoists depending on the model, including CM Lodestar V1 small frame and V2 large frame hoists, CM Prostar hoists and Stagemaker SR5, SR10, SM5 and SM10 models. Many configurations combine hoist pockets with storage compartments for hoist chain, chain bags and accessories, such as the Double CM Lodestar V2 and 2 Storage insert or the Triple CM Lodestar V2 insert.
Storage Inserts for Rigging Hardware, Tools and Fall Protection
Storage insert packages divide the case into two to six compartments for rigging hardware, shackles, slings, hand tools and fall protection gear. Options like the LG Triple Storage and LG Quad Storage inserts keep gear organized and easy to find on site, and can be swapped for hoist inserts whenever your load changes.
