The Petzl twin release pulley is a releasable, double progress capture pulley for use with hauling systems. The pulley is engineered for 4:1 haul setups and is ideal for work in confined spaces or for technical rescue thanks to its twin release progress capture feature. An ergonomic handle is used to release the cam. Within the mobile side plate and the main faceted sheave, there is a brake with single direction rotation for extra control and braking when lowering heavy loads. Hauling is made highly efficient thanks to the two sheaves. The swivel helps with operations by allowing the pulley to be aligned under load and direct connection to ropes, slings or carabiners.
