Quick Installation and Portable Operation
The CM BatteryStar is designed for fast setup. Attach the hoist to a suitable anchor point, install a charged M18™ battery and the unit is ready for lifting. The hoist can be used in a standard mounting orientation or inverted, allowing the hook to be positioned at the anchor point before the hoist lifts itself into place.
No Electrical Power Required
The BatteryStar operates from a Milwaukee Tool® M18™ Red Lithium battery, making it suitable for temporary work and locations where conventional electrical power is unavailable or difficult to reach. A 12.0 Ah battery can provide up to 180 ft of hook travel at a 1-ton load under the stated test conditions.
Precise Lifting with Wireless Remote
The wireless remote provides true variable-speed control, allowing the operator to adjust lifting speed based on how far the control button is pressed. The remote can operate from more than 60 ft away, helping keep the operator away from the load path.
Built-In Brake Inspection
The BatteryStar features brake inspection windows that allow operators to check for brake dust buildup. This design supports easier inspection of the mechanical brake during routine equipment checks.
Durability and Overload Protection
The CM BatteryStar Hoist uses an electronic clutch and a secondary mechanical clutch for dual overload protection. Integrated upper and lower limit switches help protect the slip clutch, motor and gearbox by controlling the highest and lowest hook positions.
Battery and Smart Tool Connectivity
The BatteryStar is designed around Milwaukee Tool® M18™ batteries. The M18™ platform is used across more than 250 Milwaukee Tool® products, allowing compatible batteries to be shared across supported tools. The hoist also includes Milwaukee Tool® ONE-KEY™ functionality for equipment management and inspection tracking.
