What is the difference between the CM Lodestar Next Gen Model L 1 Ton and the Classic Model L?
Both lift 2,000 lb at 16 ft/min with a 1 HP motor. The Next Gen Model L adds a heavy-duty DC brake, IP65 protection, an adjustable clutch outside the gear train and a 5-pocket liftwheel. The Classic has the shorter distance between hooks: 15-9/16 in. versus 18.1 in.
What is included with the CM Lodestar Classic Model L 1 Ton?
Each hoist ships with 5/16 in. hardened steel load chain for your selected lift (60, 80, 90 or 100 ft), the matching chain bag (MPDH 20S for 60 ft, MPDH 25S for 80 to 100 ft), the MPDHV2 chain bag bracket, standard swivel LatchGate hooks and your chosen connector.
Which connector should I choose for the CM Lodestar Classic Model L 1 Ton?
Choose the connector that matches your power and control system: Dual Twist (L16-20 power with L14-20 control), C7 or P14. The L14-20 versions add an auxiliary individual control. Choose No Connectors if you will fit your own. The hoist runs on 230/460V three-phase power.
What hook and handle options are available for the CM Lodestar Classic Model L 1 Ton?
Every hoist comes prepped with standard swivel LatchGate hooks. CM Latchlok hooks and rigid hook suspensions are available on request through a quote. Handles are optional: choose No Handles or Hoist Spring Loaded Handles V2 when you configure the hoist.
What standards does the CM Lodestar Classic Model L 1 Ton meet?
According to CM, the Classic Lodestar is built to meet the applicable sections of ASME B30.16 (Overhead Hoists), the National Electrical Code (ANSI/NFPA 70), OSHA, TÜV and the CE Directive. Always check that your installation also complies with local codes.
