The KASK FR Sun Shield is a flame and fire-resistant hard hat sun shield engineered for professionals requiring both arc flash protection and ultraviolet defense in demanding outdoor and industrial environments. Covering the back of the neck, ears, and face, this KASK sun shield attaches easily to all KASK helmets via lamp clips — making it the most versatile arc flash PPE sun accessory in the KASK lineup. The black undersurface reduces sun reflection for enhanced all-day comfort.

Made from a double-layer fabric of 93% Nomex®, 5% Kevlar®, and 2% antistatic fiber, this FR sun shield delivers an ATPV of 22.2 cal/cm² — tested to ASTM F1959-05 and IEC 61482/1. Combined with UPF 50+ ultraviolet protection blocking both UVA and UVB rays, it provides comprehensive defense against thermal hazards and solar radiation in a single lightweight accessory.
